TORONTO, CANADA, September 29, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Infinit Drones Corp., a Canadian enterprise drone and robotics solutions provider specializing in public safety, critical infrastructure, industrial inspection and emergency response, today announced the commercial introduction of the NT VTOL450 long-endurance electric VTOL uncrewed aircraft system. The new platform is developed and manufactured by Nested Technologies Corp. and is sold, configured, integrated and supported end-to-end by Infinit Drones for government, public-safety, utility and industrial customers.

The NT VTOL450 is designed to give operators the range and coverage of a fixed-wing aircraft without the runway, catapult or recovery net that conventional fixed-wing systems require. The aircraft takes off and lands vertically, then transitions to efficient wing-borne flight for large-area coverage, allowing teams to launch and recover from small clearings, industrial sites or remote terrain with a smaller logistics footprint than crewed aircraft or conventional fixed-wing UAS.

“The NT VTOL450 was created for missions where teams need the reach and efficiency of a fixed-wing aircraft but cannot depend on a runway or extensive ground infrastructure,” said Pedram Nowroozi, CEO of Nested Technologies Corp. and Infinit Drones Corp. “By combining vertical deployment, long-endurance electric flight and modular payload integration, we are giving Canadian operators a practical platform for demanding missions in remote and northern environments.”

Built for Endurance, Payload and Field Deployment

The NT VTOL450 targets the gap between short-endurance multirotors and larger conventional fixed-wing systems that require substantial launch and recovery infrastructure. Key capabilities include:
• Runway-independent vertical takeoff and landing, with autonomous launch, mission execution, return and landing under operator monitoring
• Flight endurance of 2.5 hours in the standard configuration and up to 4.5 hours in the Pro configuration, subject to final configuration and test conditions
• Payload capacity of up to 10 kg, subject to final verification, with modular integration for electro-optical and infrared imaging, mapping cameras, LiDAR, multispectral sensors and communications equipment
• Efficient fixed-wing cruise for large-area coverage, packing into a transportable field case for rapid deployment
• An Arctic-ready configuration using low-temperature battery technology targeted for operation down to –40°C
The Arctic configuration incorporates Nested Technologies’ Smart Propeller system, which integrates temperature and speed sensing with built-in heating elements, a capability the company says has no direct equivalent currently available on the market.

Applications Across Public Safety, Infrastructure and Remote Operations

Best-fit missions for the NT VTOL450 include long-range intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; corridor and infrastructure inspection; wide-area mapping; environmental and wildlife monitoring; wildfire intelligence; search and rescue; coastal and maritime observation; remote logistics assessment; and Arctic operations. The platform is intended for teams that need to cover large or remote areas, carry meaningful sensor payloads and operate from constrained field locations, particularly in the northern and remote regions where demand for persistent aerial intelligence and resilient domestic capability continues to grow.

Primary customers include defence and public-safety organizations, government agencies, utilities, energy and mining operators, environmental and research organizations, and infrastructure owners, with buyers spanning UAS program managers, ISR and emergency-management teams, geomatics managers and asset-integrity leaders.

Availability and Support

The NT VTOL450 is available now for customer engagement, demonstrations and configuration planning through Infinit Drones, with a typical order lead time of 30 to 40 days. The platform is currently available in Canada, with global availability planned to follow. Infinit Drones provides requirements analysis, payload and communications integration, CONOPS and regulatory consulting, operator and maintenance training, commissioning, documentation, technical support and spare-parts and repair coordination, with support packages tailored to each customer’s mission, location, fleet size and service-level requirements.
